Newfoundland and Labrador Association for Community Living (NLACL) is a non-profit organization that works with and on behalf of persons with intellectual disabilities in Newfoundland and Labrador. We are committed to creating awareness among the people of Newfoundland and Labrador about the importance of the initiatives of NLACL to the lives of the 15,000 individuals with intellectual disabilities as well as their families and communities.
Some of our initiatives are:
To work with and on behalf of individuals with an intellectual disability and their families.
To advocate for individuals to live as full participants in the community based on the values of equality, inclusion and independence.
