The Newfoundland & Labrador Association for Community Living
Supporting persons with intellectual disabilities and their families for over 50 years
Mission Statement
- To work with and on behalf of individuals with an intellectual disability and their families.
- To advocate for individuals to live as full participants in the community based on the values of Equality, Inclusion and Independence.

What is the Newfoundland & Labrador Association for Community Living (NLACL)?
NLACL is a, non-profit association that works with persons with intellectual disabilities with a main goal of creating communities where everyone belongs.

What is Community Living?
It’s simple really—most of us experience it every day. We are welcomed into our community, work with our peers and go to school with our friends. NLACL works hard to make sure persons with disabilities are welcomed and supported in their community in the same way.

What can we do for you?
If you or your family member has an intellectual disability, we are here to help you. We can offer support to individuals and their families and will work with the government to help build welcoming communities.
